Bhubaneswar: For effective implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for General Elections to BMC-2022 and to ensure no violation, a control room has been functional in the office of the ADM-cum-Election Officer.
The control Room will receive and enlist complaints regarding violation of model code of conduct and disseminate complaints to the Officer in Charge MCC, Zonal Magistrates and the concerned Zonal Squad for necessary action. The Officer in-charge will submit the daily action taken report to Election officer, BMC and upload it on Google sheet daily in the prescribed format by State Election Commission.
Officer In-Charge of the control room is assisted by one Senior Assistant, one junior assistant and one DEO. The Control room will function from 9AM to 8PM daily till the MCC is in force.
