London: Speedster Jasprit Bumrah has become the second-fasted Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in One Day Internationals.
The pacer reached the milestone in India’s last group stage match against Sri Lanka at Leeds on Saturday in the ongoing ICC World Cup.
Bumrah dismissed the Sri Lankan skipper and opener Dimuth Karunaratne to reach the milestone in his 57th match.
The young pacer took one match more than record-holder Mohammad Shami.
Bumrah is the 21st Indian bowler to take 100 ODI wickets.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka gives India a target of 265 in 50 overs with the help of Angelo Mathews’s century 102 (117).
