Bhubaneswar: The bus fare was hiked in Odisha due to the soaring price of fuel.
The fare for ordinary bus has been hiked from Rs 0.87/km to Rs 0.90/km, from Rs 0.91/km to Rs 0.94/km to express bus.
The bus fare increased to Rs 1.31/km from Rs 1.25/km for deluxe bus and AC deluxe bus fare rose from Rs 1.53/km to Rs 1.59/km.
The super premium bus fare increased from Rs 2.38/km to Rs 2.47/km.
