Bhubaneswar: With the increase in the fuel prices, the state Government today hiked the fares of all categories of buses under the automatic fare adjustment mechanism.
While, the fares of ordinary and express buses have been increased by two paise per km, the deluxe and AC deluxe buses’ fare will be dearer by four paise per km.
According to the notification, the fare for the ordinary bus will now be 72 as against 70 paise/km while that for express bus fare will be 75 paise/km instead of 73 paise/km.
Similarly, the deluxe category buses will now charge Rs 1.05 per km and the AC deluxe buses will charge Rs 1.27 per km as against Rs 1.23 per km.
