Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has reduced the bus fare due to decrease in diesel price.
A notification has been issued by the State Transport Authority in this regard.
“Due to decrease in per litre diesel price from Rs . 102.34 as on 16.10.2021 to Rs . 91.61 as on 06.11.2021 , leading to price decreased by an amount equal to Rs.10.73 in direct & Rs . 10.56 in cumulative ( including the carryover ) , the fare for stage carriages other than town buses plying within the State of Odisha shall be fixed at decreased rate”, the notification reads.
