Chatrapur Police Seizes Huge Quantity of Explosive Materials from Quarry in Sundarpur Village

Berhampur: A huge quantity of explosive materials has been seized from a quarry at Kaitari near Sundarpur village in Chatrapur block in Ganjam district.

During a raid, the Chatrapur Police has seized the illegal materials and arrested two persons in this connection.
This has been informed by Ganjam SP Brijesh Ray.
“Chatrapur Police seized huge quantities of explosive substances (600 Nos.of gelatins,20 Nos.of electronic detonators,25 Nos.of iron rods,ammonium nitrate,01 blasting machine) from a quarry at kaitari near Sundarpur & arrested 02 accd persons”, the SP tweeted.

The explosive materials was illegally stored at the quarry.
