Bhubaneswar: The classes of Class IX and XI students in the government schools in the state will not be closed for Covid-19, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.
Speaking to media persons, Dash said that cases of Covid-19 have been reported from few private educational institutions in the state. Classes in government-run schools are being held while following the SOPs issued by the government.
“Not a single case of Covid-19 has been reported from government schools. Thus, no decision has been made so far to close government schools, Dash said.
