Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his deep grief over the passing away of prominent freedom fighter Nilamani Samal.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that Nilamani Samal had joined the country’s freedom movement at the young age and had been jailed.
Samal will be always remembered for his sacrifice for freedom of the country. Even after the freedom of the country, he gave the message of service and patriotism to the youth till his last breath.
The Chief Minister has announced that the last rites of the freedom fighter will be performed with full state honors.
The Chief Minister also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed peace to the departed soul.
