Bhubaneswar: Taking another step ahead towards transformation of the government High Schools in the state, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate 532 transformed High Schools in five districts. As part of the second phase of the High School Transformation Program under the 5T Initiatives of the Government of Odisha, 532 schools of are being inaugurated today. They include 339 schools of Mayurbhanj, 41 schools of Subernapur, 24 schools of Boudh, 46 schools of Malkangiri and 81 schools of Khordha.
The Odisha Government has taken up the transformation of the High Schools in the state under the aegis of the 5T Initiatives with an aim to transform them into world class learning centers.
In the first phase, 1070 High schools have already been transformed. The new schools have the best and most modern teaching infrastructure such as smart classrooms, e-library, reading rooms, science laboratories, hygienic toilets, safe drinking water and sports infrastructures.
