CM Naveen to Inaugurate World Class Indoor Athletic Stadium and Aquatic Center at Kalinga Stadium Today

Bhubaneswar: Adding another feather to Odisha’s sporting cap. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate and lay foundation stones for a number of international standard sporting infrastructure facilities at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the most modern Indoor Athletics Stadium at Kalinga Stadium Complex. It is India’s first Indoor Athletics stadium and South Asia’s biggest indoor facility.

Giving a big boost to Indian swimming, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate the world class Indoor Aquatic Centre at the Kalinga Stadium. Likewise, Naveen is also scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Indoor Diving Center. These modern sporting infrastructure facilities have the capability to host national and international sporting events.
