Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Kandhamal district tomorrow to launch the distribution of Smart Health Cards under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY), a major initiative that aims to transform the healthcare services in Odisha.
Around 1.67 lakh beneficiaries in the district will receive the smart health cards.
The BSKY smart health card will entitle the beneficiaries’ free treatment at all government hospitals and more than 200 private hospitals of the state.
As many as 15 districts have been already covered under the scheme till date.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate development projects worth Rs 300 crore in Kandhamal.
