Bhubaneswar: In a major breakthrough, the Commissionerate police has busted a job racket
involving a couple who duped more than fifteen gullible youths in the name of providing them jobs in Indian Railway, police, army and other departments. The couple – Saroj Kumar Jena and his wife Rashmilata Mohanty were targeting susceptible youth in need of jobs by giving them falls promise of lucrative jobs in these organizations. They were operating from Dhauli area of Bhubaneswar in the name of a consultancy. The youth were targeted with forged documents such as appointment letters and other documents.
The incident came to light when a victim made a complaint in the Dhauli Police station against the husband and wife couple. In cource of investigation, it became clear that the duo have duped a large number of youth. While Saroj has been arrested, the wife is absconding.
