Bhubaneswar: Days before the Panchayat Polls in Odisha, senior Biju Janata Dal leader and Government Chief Whip Pramila Mallick has said that the Biju Janata Dal will win more than 800 Zilla Parishad zone seats. Speaking to media, Pramila said that the fight will be between the Biju Janata Dal and the Bhrataiya Janata Party and the BJD will easily win in more than 800 seats as the people of the state are with it.
The independent candidates pose no threat to us. While the party had declared to give 40 percent seats to the OBCs, in fact 48 percent seats have been given to them, she said.
