Bhubaneswar: As many as 988 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Odisha capital city in the last 24 hours, informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the new cases, 822 are the local contact cases and the rest 166 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 777 patients from the virus during the same period.
The COVID-19 caseload in the city now stands at 59163, including 11418 active cases.
