Bhubaneswar: As many as 1048 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Odisha capital city in the last 24 hours, informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the new cases, 897 are the local contact cases and the rest 151 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 848 patients from the virus during the same period.
The COVID-19 caseload in the city now stands at 51496, including 10060 active cases.
