Bhubaneswar: As many as 745 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Odisha capital city in the last 24 hours, said the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 598 are the local contact cases and the rest 147 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 399 patients from the virus during the same period.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the city jumped to 39237 which includes 4763 active cases.
