Covid-19 Surge: All Schools in Delhi to Remain Shut till Further Notice

New Delhi: In a significant development, the Delhi government on Friday announced to close all government and private schools across the state till further notice in view of surge in cases of Covid-19.

In his Twitter handle, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal writes, ” All schoools including private to remain closed till further order.”

कोविड के बढ़ते मामलों के कारण, दिल्ली में सभी स्कूल (सरकारी, प्राइवेट सहित), सभी क्लासेज के लिए अगले आदेश तक बंद किए जा रहे हैं।

Delhi recorded as many as 7,437 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, the highest single-day spike this year, while 24 more people also died due to the coronavirus infection.
