Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch investigators today quizzed the personal assistant of Akash Pathan, son of arrested IFS officer Abhay Pathak, in the jobs for money scam. During interrogation it is learnt that the Akash not only cheated people in Odisha but outside also. David has been picked up from pune and brought to Bhubaneswar for quizzing.
Akash is accused of collecting crores of rupees from gullible unemployed youth in the name of providing jobs to them in Tata Motors. He has been accused of cheating the youth by impersonating himself as the Managing Director of Tata Motors. Pradeep Panigrahi, the MLA of Gopalpur has also been arrested in the case for helping Akash in his illegal activities.
