Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra will brief the media today at 6:30 pm. It is expected that he may announce an extension of the prevailing lockdown in the state.
The State Government had imposed lockdown in the entire state on 5th May with Weekend Shutdowns. It is expected that the government may extend the lockdown for another 14 days looking at the number of Covid-19 positive cases.
The current lockdown has helped the administration to keep in control the Covid infections. Another lockdown will help further control and minimize the spread of the virus.
