Cyclone Amphan: PM Modi to Conduct Aerials Surveys in West Bengal, Odisha to Take Stock of Situation

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting West Bengal and Odisha tomorrow to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan.

It has been informed by the the Prime Minister’s office.

In a tweet, PMO said “Tomorrow, PM @narendramodi will travel to West Bengal and Odisha to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan. He will conduct aerial surveys and take part in review meetings, where aspects of relief and rehabilitation will be discussed.”

Earlier today, the PM wished that situation normalises in West Bengal & Odisha at the earliest.

In a series of tweets he said, “My thoughts are with the people of Odisha as the state bravely battles the effects of Cyclone Amphan.

Authorities are working on the ground to ensure all possible assistance to the those affected. I pray that the situation normalises at the earliest.
