Bhubaneswar: Met experts have predicted a cyclonic circulation to form and move across the Gulf of Thailand and Malay Peninsula around 4th May which will quickly enter into the Andaman Sea and adjoining Bay of Bengal.
It is likely to transform into a low pressure area by 5th May and if conditions become favorable can intensify into a depression by the 5th or 6th of May. While there have not been many Cyclonic storms in the month of May in last few years, they have a potential to be of higher intensity.
