Bhawanipatna: A junior engineer in Odisha’s Kalahandi district has landed in vigilance net for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to the known source of his income.
As per sources, the vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on office and houses of Abhaya Kumar Pati, Junior Engineer (contractual) Technical Consultant under District Project Coordinator, SSA, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district today on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by the JE.
Simultaneous raids were conducted by the anti-corruption officers on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The vigilance raided eight places including rented house at Bhawanipatna, office room of Sri Pati at Bhawanipatna, double storied house at Pandara in Bhubaneswar, rented house of SO, flat at Loknathghat in Puri, house at native village Rahani in Dhenkanal, house of relative at Kanthia village in Dhenkanal and office of M/s Padma Infrastructure located at Mahanadi Vihar, Cuttack.
