Mumbai: The Budget for the Year 2020-21 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has disappointed the Dalal Street with the both the Sensex and Nifty losing more than 2.5 percentage by 3 pm today.
All sectoral indices were trading in red after the finance minister presented her second budget. The industry which has been anticipating a boost with a number of sops and a cut in corporate taxes has been disappointed.
The measures announced to revive the economy could not correct the mood of the investors. While the Sensex was down with more than thousand points, the nifty was trading at 300 points down by 3.15 pm.
