Days After Administering Phase-III Vaccine Trial Dose, Haryana Health Minister Tests COVID-19 Positive

Ambala: Days after administering a trial dose of coronavirus vaccine,  Covaxin, Haryana’s Health Minister Anil Vij has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet Vij said, “I have been tested Corona positive. I am admitted in Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact to me are advised to get themselves tested for corona.”

He was administered the Phase 3 trials for the potential vaccine Cocaine candidate as volunteer.  on November 20.

Covaxin, a potential vaccine against the novel coronavirus, is being developed indigenously by Bharat Biotech along with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
