In the morning the local fishermen saw the carcass of whale floating in the seawater and immediately informed the authority.
A team of forest department soon rushed to the spot and recovered the body of 60 feets long aquatic animal.
The officials believe that the whale might have died due to strong winds and tidal surge triggered by the Super Cyclonic Storm.
