Puri: Odisha Director General of Police Sunil Kumar Bansal paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath at the Puri Sri Mandira today. He was accompanied by his wife. This is the first visit of the DG to Puri after he assumed the charge on the 31st December.
Speaking to media. he said “My wish to have darshan of Lord Jagannath has been fulfilled today. Prayed for the happiness and well being of all.”
Further, the new DGP said, a special cell will be set up to deal with the narcotics smuggling in the state and modern technology will be uitlised to deal with the criminals in Odisha.
