Bhubaneswar: Two days after security forces killed a dreaded Maoist in Swabhiman area in Malkangiri district, Director, Intelligence, RK Sharma today reviewed the Maoist operations in which military platoon commander was neutralised.
Other senior officials of Odisha and BSF including DIGP Sunabeda, SP Malkangir, DIG/Comdt BSF have also attended the meeting.
During the review, Sharma has emphasized on the intelligence input need for any operation and asked officers to build a robust intelligence network for success against Maoist operation.
Sharma also conducted aerial survey of the operational areas in Swabhiman Anchal, such as Gurasetu, Jodambo, Jantapai, Hantalguda etc to intensify operations.
IGP Ops Amitabh Thakur , IG BSF, DIGP SIW also accompanied him during the aerial survey.
