EOW Arrests Person Impersonating as ITDC Official, Trying to Sell Nilachal Ashok Hotel in Puri

Bhubaneswar: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Bhubaneswar has arrested a person for impersonating as India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) senior official and trying to sell hotel Nilachal Ashok in Puri.
The accused has been identified as Anikesh Sahu from Cuttack.

Anikesh along with other fraudsters reportedly cheated Rs 50 lakh from one Tapan Mohanty of Puri for the hotel.

As per the EOW, Anikesh with others, impersonating as senior officials of ITDC, tried to sell ITDC hotel Nilachal Ashok, in a deal of Rs 15 crore out of which Rs 50 lakh was already paid.

The main accused is already in jail in another fraud case, the EOW said.
