Cuttack: The police seized fake blood pressure medicines worth around Rs 3 lakh near Dolamundai of Mahatab Road in Cuttack.
One person was arrested in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, the Purighat police raided the spot and seized fake 1350 strips of Telma-40 medicines from a transport agency near Mahatab Road.
The fake drugs were ordered by Kolkata-based VR Drug Agencies, as per reports.
Earlier on Sunday, the Purighat PS acting on the report of the Drug Inspector Cuttack arrested the owners of two pharmaceutical distributors located at Manikghosh Bazar for selling duplicate medicines procured from Bangalore and Bihar.
