Fighting COVID-19: 100 Police Personnel Donate Plasma in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In response to appeal by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to eligible COVID survivors for plasma donation to save precious lives, as many as 100 Odisha Police personnel, who recovered from corona infection, have so far donated their plasma for the treatment of critical COVID-19 patients.

“So far 100 Corona Warriors from Odisha Police have donated plasma .We celebrate this century with humility and promise to reach double century soon”, Odisha DGP Abhay said.

The warrior cops have donated plasma at different plasma banks in the State.

Odisha has secured a prominent place not only in India but also in the whole world in the successful treatment of COVID-19 patients through plasma therapy.

More than 100 patients have recovered from coronavirus through this therapy.
