Bhubaneswar: A firearm has been seized from a passenger during luggage scanning at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
The passenger was scheduled to board an Air Asia flight to Bengaluru.
The passenger named Ramachandra Jena of Krushnaprasad in Puri district of Odisha has been arrested from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBIA) in this connection.
As per reports, the firearm which was in the luggage of the passenger was detected during the luggage scam.
Meanwhile, the passenger has been handed over to the Airport police station for questioning.
