Parlakhemundi: In view of rising cases of COVID-19, the Gajapati district administration has restrict movement of people from Ganjam district and adjoining Srikakulam region of Andhra Pradesh.
“To strengthen containment exercise, all nonessential movement to Gajapati from Ganjam and Srikakulam district shall not be allowed”, informed Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha.
Meanwhile, the door-to-door health screening is underway in Gajapati district to identify symptomatic persons.
Gajapati district has so far reported 568 cases of COVID-19, of which 138 are the active cases.
