Balasore: Gangster Sheikh Hyder died today while he was undergoing treatment following bullet injuries in police encounter in Balasore district today.
Hyder passed away at Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), according to reports.
The dreaded gangster had sustained injuries in the police encounter near Simulia in Balasore district. The police had to open fire at Hyder when he tried to escape while he was being shifted from Choudwar Jail in Cuttack to Baripada Jail amid tight security this afternoon.
