Aska: Three persons including two women were arrested with 12.500 gram of ganja by Aska police in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Friday.
The accused were identified as Dijabar Digal (47), Kumari Digal (40) and Faguni Digal (30).
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the accused while they were allegedly transporting the confiscated item from Firingia to Bhubaneswar.
Around 12.500gm of ganja hidden in three air bags was seized.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act), sources said.
