Berhampur: Tightening the screws on gambling in the district, the Ganjam police has busted 12 gambling dens all over the district and arrested 63 gamblers in the last 24 hours.
The cops also seized cash worth Rs 1,48,780 and 12 mobile handsets from the gamblers.
“In view of Puja festive, special drive made against gambling dens in Ganjam. Last 24 hours Ganjam cops busted 12 gambling dens in all over the district and arrested 63 gamblers with seizure of cash Rs.1,48,780, 12 mobile handsets for indulging in the illegal activity”, Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Rai informed through Twitter handle .
