Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration held its people-friendly service delivery programme ‘Mo Gaon Re Tahasil’ here on Wednesday.
The programme, which aims at resolving land and revenue related issues at the grassroots level without any mediator, received an overwhelming response in Berhampur subdivision.
The admin distributed as many as 3700 house and land patta under GKP, Vasundhara and Bebandobasta schemes to people in Berhampur subdivision at the Mo Gaon Re Tahasil camp on Wednesday.
Mo Gaon Re Tahasil, which was initiated by Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange in line with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5-T mantra in September this year, facilitates on the spot delivery of essential land-related services and certificates such as land patta; residence, income and caste certificates, and e-Pauti realization.
The Odisha Government has launched several schemes like Gramakantha Parmboke, Vasundhara and Bebandobast to give land rights to various sections of society. Hence, it is important that these benefits should be given to beneficiaries by revenue Team in Transparent manner using Technology like GPS tagging in a definite Time so as to Transform lives of landless people of our state, said the Ganjam Collector.
The programme will be held in Bhanjanagar and Chatrapur subdivisions soon, said an official.
