Haryana Assembly Speaker Tests Positive for COVID-19

Chandigarh: Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta today tested positive for Covid-19, informed State Health Minister Anil Vij.

Besides the Speaker, two MLAs also tested positive for the virus, the Minister stated.

The Haryana Assembly session begins from August 26. Deputy speaker Ranbir Gangwar will preside over the assembly proceedings in Gupta’s absence.
