New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday spoke to the Chief Ministers of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Jharkhand and discussed with them the Covid-19 situation in their respective states as the number of infections break all records in the country. According to official sources he discussed with them the present situation and the steps taken by the government at this critical juncture. Just hours after the conversation, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted regarding the conversation and claimed that Prime Minister Modi did not listen to him and was speaking like Mann Ki Baat.
Soren tweeted “Adarniya Pradhan Mantriji ji ne phone kiya. Unhone sirf apne mann ki baat ki. Behtar hota agar wo kaam ki baat karte aur kaam ki baat sunte”.
According to a close said of the Chief Minister, the Prime Minister did not ask anything on the pandemic situation of the state and any help the state needed. He just spoke to the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister listened. Though the exact conversation between them is not known, the tweet by Hemant Soren has been making news in the social media since then.
आज आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी ने फोन किया। उन्होंने सिर्फ अपने मन की बात की। बेहतर होता यदि वो काम की बात करते और काम की बात सुनते।
