Prague: Indian ace sprinter Hima Das bagged her Fifth Gold Medal in 400m at the Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic.
Hima Das, also known as Dhing Express, clocked her season’s best timing at 52.06s to complete the race. The timing is rather slower than her personal best which is 50.79s. Hima managed to set this record at Jakarta Asian Games.
This was Hima’s fifth Gold this season since July 2 when she ran her first competitive race in Europe.
In her first competitive 200m race of the year, she clocked 23.65 seconds on her way to gold at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland on July 2.
After that, the 19-year-old athlete from Assam won her second 200m gold at the Kutno Athletics Meet, also in Poland, on July 7 with a time of 23.97 seconds.
Earlier she won Gold at 200m Tabor Athletic Meet on Wednesday.
