New Delhi: India on Tuesday reported 60,471 daily new Covid cases, the lowest in 75 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The country’s coronavirus tally stands at 29,570,881 including 9,13,378 active cases.
This is the eighth day in a row when the daily Covid count has remained below 1 lakh. On June 14, the country reported 70,421 new cases.
Total recoveries across the country reached 2,82,80,472 so far after 1,17,525 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.
As many as 25.90 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive, it added.
