New Delhi: India has reported a big jump in the number of Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours. The country reported more than 1,17,100 positive cases of the dreaded virus. In the last 24 hours 302 persons lost their lives due to Covid taking the total deaths in the country to 483178. The country also reported 30836 recoveries yesterday. The daily positivity rate of the country has risen to 7. 74 percent. The number of active cases in the country currently stands at 371363. More than 149.66 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the country till now.
The number of infections from the Omicron variant is also rising with the total number of infections rising to 3007 by yesterday.
