Balasore: India has successfully carried out night-time test-firing of Agni 2 Ballistic Missile today.
The medium range nuclear capable Agni 2 has a strike range of two thousand Kilometers. The test-firing was carried out at about 7: 30 pm off the Odisha coast by the Strategic Forces Command.
This is for the first time that Agni 2 has been test fired in the night time from the Abdul Kalam Island. It can carry one thousand kilograms of conventional war heads also.
