India’s Active Case Count Crosses Seven Lakh With 1.79 Lakh New Cases

New Delhi: India has reported more than 1.79 lakh new cases of Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the country to 179723. The country has reported 4003 Omicron variant infections till death. The death toll due to Covid-19 has risen to 483936 with 146 new deaths in the last 24 hours.

The daily positivity rate in the country has seen a rise to 13.29 on Monday. 46569 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries in the country to 34500172 since the beginning of the pandemic.
