Bhubaneswar: While Ganjam district was hitting headlines for maximum number of spike in coronavirus cases till last few days, but now the Khordha district is set to get the unwanted tag of new hotspot of coronavirus in Odisha with highest single day spike among the district in the State.
While Odisha today saw the highest single-day spike of 1833 positive cases in the last 24 hours, the Khordha district contributed highest 298 cases, followed by Ganjam (279), Rayagarh (152), and Cuttack (124).
Similarly, the Khordha reported 220 cases on Thursday, 196 on Wednesday and 201 on Tuesday.
