Bhubaneswar: Odisha FC has appointed Gerry Peyton as assistant coach of the team for the seventh edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).
64-year old Peyton, the former goalkeeper of the Irish national team, has joined the Bhubaneswar-based football club on a two-year deal on Friday.
Prior to joining Odisha FC, he was the assistant manager of Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse.
Peyton was also a member of the coaching teams of Arsenal and Fulham.
Earlier, Odisha FC had appointed Stuart Baxter as head coach of the side ahead of the seventh edition of ISL.
