Bhubaneswar: India’s one of the most popular scientists and ISRO Chairman K Sivan will visit Bhubaneswar on September 21 to attend 8th Annual Convocation of IIT, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Sivan will grace the occasion as chief guest and deliver the convocation address.
During his address, the ISRO Chairman is likely to share his thoughts about the Chandrayaan-2 Moon mission and country’s upcoming space programmes, sources said.
The President of India Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medals and Institute Silver Medals will also be awarded to the deserving students at the convocation, a statement issued by IIT, Bhubaneswar said.
