Berhampur: The students of the Odisha Government-run Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Berhampur observed the World AIDS Day 2022 with awareness programme.
Under the theme ‘Equalize’, the students participated with gusto and arranged in the formation of the AIDS awareness symbol to make people, particularly the younger generation, aware about the causes, symptoms, tests and treatments for treating HIV infection.
The ITI Berhampur always sets examples by leading from the front for the cause of the society.
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the students formed one of the longest human chains to appeal people to unite in the fight against HIV and show solidarity to those living with HIV.
More than 2000 trainees and over 100 staff members participated in the programme.
Professor Prafulla Kumar Mohanty, Vice Chancellor Khallikote University and Dr. Rajat Panigrahy, Principal of ITI Berhampur addressed the students on the relevance of World AIDS Day.
