Kendrapara: A junior engineer (JE) of Rajnagar Block in the district has succumbed to Coronavirus on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
The junior engineer has been identified as Biswabhusan Bhuyan.
According to reports, the JE was deployed at various places in the block during the recent flood. Later, he fell sick and then tested positive for coronavirus.
He was also treated with plasma therapy after his condition did not improve. He, however, breathed his last on Tuesday.
