Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday transferred Jharsuguda SP.
The decision came in the wake of murder of Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Das allegedly by dismissed ASI Gopal Das in Jharsuguda on Sunday.
The State Government has also transferred Brajarajnagar Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO).
As per an official notification, Jharsuguda SP Rahul Jain has been transferred and attached to SP Hdq.
Jain will be replaced by Parmar Smit Parshottamdas, who is currently SP Bargarh.
Similarly, Prahalad Sahai Meena, currently SP Boudh, has been transferred to SP Bargarh.
Raj Prasad, Addl Rayagada SP will be posted as SP Boudh.
