Kendujhar Zilla Parishad Vice-Chairman, Four Others Arrested for Violating COVID-19 Guidelines

Kendujhar: Kendujhar Zilla Parishad Vice-chairman and four more persons were arrested by police for allegedly violating the COVID-19 guidelines, according to reports.

Akshay Kumar Sahu, the Zilla Parishad Vice-president and his supporters had organized a feast near Padana chhak area under Ramachandrapur Police limits, where a large number of people gathered disregarding the COVID-19 norms imposed by the government.

The feast was reportedly organized to celebrate the Raja festival.

On getting information about it, police rushed the spot and arrested the Zilla Parishad Vice-president and four other persons in this connection, reports said.
